winning Budapest chess championship for kids under 11 years old with

Was the first woman in history, to earn an overall Chess Grand Master
title ("men's" title until then) [ 1991]
Winner of a category 13 chess tournament (average rating of 2575 [

Winner of Olympic Gold medals (as the Top board of the Hungarian team

years, Maya Chiburdanidze with a score of 5.5:1.5 [St. Petersburg,

former champion, Xie Jun with a score of 8.5:4.5 [ Jaen, Spain -
February 1996]
Taught chess in a Harlem public school (Mott Hall) for one year.
